Shaker Temple High Priestess
Here is the gigantic high priestess of the bloody Maran Gor Shaker Cult travels in her processional wagon, drawn by six blind cave oxen and escorted by her virgin cannibal cultists.
The Shakers make the barren ground around their temple fertile, by ploughing the corpses of victims into the soil. They defend their realm by summoning massive earthquakes, and eat parts of their captives to gain their magics.

I built the wagon from the bitzbox and greenstuff. The oxen are converted from Front Rank. The chains are silver (strictly should be copper, the cult metal of earth religions). The queen herself is very heavily converted from a Reaper Rat King model.
At one stage, my son Jack dropped the completed but unpainted model; did I swear? Yes I did!

The Founder is based on a Grenadier Swamp Giant with the head replaced by one sculpted from greenstuff. The ancestor spirits are converted from the Tabletop sable and impala riders.

Broo Patrol
These are the Broo from Mongoose. Like the ducks, they are rather small and quite finely built. Most of the other broo in my possession are bigger, more muscular, and look more dangerous. Still, these Broo are decent quality, with good variety and OK detail.
Jaldon Toothmaker
This picture really shows that I need to use some matte varnish on my figures. The skeletal horse is, I think, made by Grenadier. The rider is a conversion using the legs from a Dixon Plains Indian brave and the torso from an old Games Workshop barbarian.

Ducks
Some people have a problem with the Duck characters in Runequest: they consider them silly. I like them a lot though. I play them as slightly bitter second class citizens that often get the short end of the stick. Ducks not living among their own or in Boldhome tend to live in the poorer parts of town, several families crammed together in small houses. The entrepreneur types among them become rogue traders, thiefs, assassins, or spies. Above is brown squad, below you can see squad blue. Miniatures are by Mongoose. They are great quality, about 22 mm to the eye, and with excellent detail.
Sable Camp
The tipis were made using brass wire and fimo modeling putty. The figures around the camp are made by Dixon.

figures supplied by Dixon, Tin Soldier UK and Navigator Miniatures. The Tin
Soldier UK figures are from their Sarmatian range. They are wearing scale
armour made from animal horn, which is, I think, very appropriate for Bison
Riders.
